SS: Senior politicians from the UK’s Labour, Conservative, Lib Dems and Reform parties have urged President-elect Trump to reconsider ties with Elon Musk, warning that his inflammatory posts on X—calling for PM Keir Starmer’s imprisonment, supporting Tommy Robinson, and suggesting US “liberation” of the UK—risk damaging the credibility of Trump’s administration and straining US-UK relations.

    2. This guy just shouldn’t be given any attention, he thrives off it like a pig in the mud.

      > Trump-Vance Transition spokesperson Brian Hughes reaffirmed the president-elect’s backing for Musk, saying the two men were “great friends” and calling the billionaire “a once in a generation business leader” whose ideas would benefit the US administration.

His ideas are already doing wonders for international diplomacy and foreign relations! Can’t wait to see what happens when he fires a large proportion of the US Government employees.

    4. Fake news headine.

Perhaps they should be reporting on Starmer labelling millions of his countries citizens ‘Far Right’ for wanting a National Public Enquiry into Pakistani Child Grooming/Rape Gangs and the cover up by authorities.

If anyone can point me in the direction of the list of the prosecutions or consequences for any police officer, social worker, councillor, community leader, police office or Politician from this id like to read it??

    5. Is this why Musk has fallen out with Farage all of a sudden?

He’s so batshit crazy, even Farage told him to pack it in?

    6. Unite? Conservatives seems to have embraced this now that musk is kicking Farage in the metapohorical nuts

    7. Elon is gonna become a problem for Trump. He’s either gonna piss him off by trying to reign him in or let him run amok and cause divisions in his party and worldwide.

Not that I feel sorry for Trump. I wish him nothing but a terrible time as president.

God forbid a public figure expresses an opinion the political elite don’t like.

They’d love to put him in prison for these very dangerous opinions.

When will we come together as a society and understand that almost 50% of people have very far right evil opinions and need to either shut up forever or go to prison?

(The biggest /s in all of history btw)

    9. You know you are nuts when you get Starmer and Farage to come together to tell you to fuck off.

    10. Musk has achieved one thing that nobody else has managed before in this country and that is to get Labour, the Tories and Reform to agree on something, which is that Musk is a cunt

    11. Wonder why the Lib Dem’s didn’t sign up… or maybe everybody just forgot they were in the room.

    12. Honestly, I think it might be good. Musk seems so destructive that they might kill each other.

We need more people like Musk. Attacking the whistleblower because he has some bad taste in his takes is just but another proof of authoritarian regime plagueing uk. And all seem to be attacking him but none has said he is wrong which is so messed up. We literally have court transcripts of what happened. We have videos of people being imprisoned about opposing migration. I know this is reddit but you people are literally more enraged about Elon speaking about it than the atrocities that are happening in the UK.

Jesus himself could come down and show you the way and you would still call for him not to interfere lmfao.

    14. Telling Trump to look the other way while the UK government sells children to sex traffickers and that they can make him rich like biden if he does

    15. WanderlustZero on

Trump? Screw trump, get Biden to rein in the contractor he pays so many billions to. He is still President, is he not?

    16. SnooCauliflowers6739 on

      Don’t urge him to.

Just constantly undermine him, ask him “should we run that by Elon?” or “What does Musk think?” or “Will Elon be there”. The occasional slip up of “President Mus…I mean Trump”

His ego won’t be able to take it.

    17. NeverGonnaGiveMewUp on

It’s absolutely mind-boggling that a country not only reelected Donald Trump but also let him appoint Elon Musk to a political position.

And somehow Musk has somehow overtaken Trump to become the most irritating man in politics.

The closest comparison I can think of is when Jedward knocked the Cheeky Girls off their perch as the most annoying twins in music. No one saw that coming either.

    18. Thing is, Trump’s approach to international diplomacy is to just to the opposite of what other people tell him to do. Eventually Musk’s gonna piss off Trump somehow. The best thing to do in the meantime, if there’s supposed cross-party support, is to revisit legislation around donations to make it harder for him (or Twitter) to interfere.

Trump is unhinged and so too is Elon.

Elon helped Trump get elected with a quarter of a billion dollars.

Europe is currently the last bastion of hope for democracy and the working/middle class values.

The west is completely overruled by the billionaire and hundred millionaire classes.

They take our wealth and pay little to no tax and offset the burden of running a country onto you.

We are screwed. Oh sorry wrong train of thought. It’s the immigrant making less than you and working longer hours to survive that’s the issue. lol!

    20. I’ve seen a lot of people (with good intentions I’m sure) say to not give the likes of Musk attention, but that’s not really an option and undersells what a dangerous figure he is. He wields a lot of unchecked power, and putting our fingers in our ears isn’t going to make that stop. He has the ability to bankroll every far right party in Europe from his own pocket, has one of the world’s largest bullhorns, and is BFF’s with the incoming President. I don’t know what the solution is, but just ignoring him isn’t going to cut it.

    21. Elon Risks damaging the credibility of Trump’s administration? LOL

Did Europeans had a high opinion of Trump in the first place before Elon started trolling?

Underestimating Trump once more, he’ll see right through this

    22. Trump and Musk don’t understand that UK politics is nowhere near as divided and lawless as in America. Politicians are still held to some standards. Yeah it’s not perfect, but it’s a far cry from Marjorie Greene Taylor repeatedly showing Hunter Biden’s dick pics in committee meetings…

    23. Why has this sub turned into r/elonmusk

Literally 8 out of the last 10 posts on this sub are about elon musk.

Imagine subbing to a UK sub reddit to only see news about an american billionare.
