    The New Year’s ‘Ohana Festival is a day to celebrate local and Japanese New Year’s traditions with friends, family and the community.


    New restaurant is an Ono addition to Chinatown

    It’s going to be a fun and busy day with live entertainment and demonstrations in the ballroom, dojo, and courtyard, such as taiko, sumo, the Cherry Blossom Festival opening ceremony, lots of new food and drink vendors, as well as specialty food from kenjinkais.

    You can enjoy interactive cultural demonstrations for everyone such as calligraphy and mochi pounding, the chance to shop local at our craft fair, plus lots more.
