Do they keep it in a closet? Why are there no lights?
Nice pics. The U-H really is an amazing facility. Just wish they had Discovery’s payload bay doors open and/or elevated walkways so you can see more of the ship up-close, like the way Atlantis is displayed down in Florida.
This was supposed to lead to shuttle service to moon, Mara and beyond.

A glorious demonstration of the genius of mankind, quite literally one of the most beautiful things ever built and every take off / landing video still makes me smile.
I watched this shuttle launch 11th October 2000 from cocoa beach while on holiday from the UK.
I get that it’s new to you, but someone put that there so you didn’t really find it.
I’ll see myself out.
It still looks something so out of sci-fi to me. Imagine travelling in it
