    I will continue to say it: billionaires are using dystopian fiction as a blue print for the future because they lack the imagination necessary to understand life could be better without constant consumption and growth. 

  3. Tim, you bring up the Matrix when discussing brain implants. Imagine if humans wanted to eat junk food and could do it virtually. You are sitting on your couch with your pet watching TV but eating virtual donuts or cheeseburgers. In the real world one could stick to healthy foods.
