      This is really small and petty, but I think this kind of pissing contest is just stupid enough to fire up even the stupidest American, which ultimately might mean money in the hands of NASA and more effort being placed in advancing the reach of humanity. Stupidity and being unable to otherwise vent stupidity induced frustrations might end up benefiting mankind.

      Maybe they want to get approval of 100% that they really landed on the moon and their flag is waving as a proof .

      Waving?  That just seems such a silly human affect, but then I suppose so is hitting golf balls on the moon.

      But flag waving?  Nationalism is so overrated.

      Get after it China. If it forces the other space agencies to step up their game then I hope they cover the moon in little waving flags.
