  1. What a great joke made me laughed 🤣 what an incredible history and culture! Georgia is EU

  2. Okay, let’s start with Giorgi I and assume he’s 100% Georgian – we don’t exactly know the ethnicity of his mom but let’s roll with it.

He’s son Bagrat IV is half Armenian, given Giorgi’s armenian wife Mariam.

George II being the son of the ossetian Borena was therefore 25% Georgian, 25% Armenian, 50% Ossetian.

His wife was presumably Georgian, making David the Builder (whom I must insist should really be called David the Restorer) 62.5% Georgian, 12.5% Armenian, 25% Ossetian.

His (first) wife being Armenian, Demetre I was 31.25% Georgian, 56.25% Armenian, 12.5% Ossetian.

Demetre’s wife is unknown, assuming she was Georgian,
George III would be 65.625% Georgian, 28.125% Armenian, 6.25% Ossetian.

And finally, Tamar, with her Alan/Ossetian mother would only be 32.3125% Georgian, 14.0625% Armenian, 53.125% Ossetian.

    …I should go to sleep.

p.s. this means Rusudan and Lasha-Giorgi were about 75% Ossetian.

p.p.s. Actual real talk, this is obviously oversimplified given I assumed (a) George I was fully Georgian – almost
certainly false, (b) all the women were 100% of their ethnicity – highly unlikely, (c) all the unknown women were Georgian – a little unlikely but quite possible.
