“Decline” is a poor choice of words in the title. Growth will be slowing, but the economy is not shrinking.
But the cost of food and items will go down too right? Right??!?!!?
My pretty conservative CEO basically said Trumps Tariffs are dumb as shit and are essentially a corporate tax (which will cost consumers), and the massive AI investment is wasteful spending when our supply chain infrastructure is one weather event from crumbling at any given moment.
That’s what happens when you plan to tariff everyone and their mother as well as kick out the unskilled labor force providing most of your food.

Blame it on Trump’s policies. I thought it would be worse though. The forecast here shows increasing gdp through 2026. Just a slower rate of growth.
