There is a very high correlation (78%) between high rates of gun ownership and male suicide. It is much higher than the correlation between guns and homicide of men (19%). People who use a gun to attempt suicide are more likely to die as a result, compared to other methods. Kinda confused for a second. I thought that the % gun owners were gender exclusive by category.
Is there a specific reason to include non-gun related suicides and deaths?
