If a tree falls in Scotland it’s the royal family’s fault

Probably just angry they support an irrelevant club in an irrelevant league.

Good for them, I guess? I can’t imagine anyone in the Royal family cares what they think.

Typical classless celtic fans, whenever they play football in England it’s the biggest game of the year and they all get a bit giddy

Honestly, I’m surprised that the Telegraph didn’t think that this was a better thing to criticise Celtic fans for:
>CELTIC ultras were last night slammed for singing about the IRA on the streets of Birmingham – weeks after the 50th anniversary of the city’s devastating terror attack.
>Dozens of fans – believed to be Green Brigade members – were filmed singing their support for the bombers hours before the match with Aston Villa.
>And home supporters inside the ground also complained about hearing the same offensive chants during the Champion’s League tie shown live on TV.
As a general rule, going to a place and singing about the time that some of the people living there got murdered is a bit crass, isn’t it? Particularly if you’re doing it around the time that the place is noting the anniversary of the event.

I’m sure Billy knew what he was going to get coming down the Villa for the Celtic match. He can take comfort that those daft little men dressed in khaki who were wandering through Birmingham singing IRA songs near the 50th anniversary of the (still unpunished) Birmingham Pub bombings that killed 21 people, have to live their lives being the daft, silly little cosplayers that they are.

It’s a football game. This was a great bit of banter.

All good news in Scotland is because Scotland is great, all bad news is immediately blamed on the English.

Jokes on the Celtic fans, King Charles does pretty much hate his own family.
He’s already removed everyone’s titles and made Andrew “homeless”.

Singing about the IRA, sectarianism… the list could continue. Lowest of the low of football fans. It’s a football game… football hooliganism and hate are not welcome. Pushing hate through kids through the beautiful game is an absolute tragedy.

Remember the royal family is more Scottish than English
The monarchy of England died in 1603 so we ended up with the Stuarts

Good, fuck the ruling class. How people have been duped into believing the royals are some cutesy benevolent family is laughable.

I’m English, and I agree with em, why do we put them on a pedestal? Why pay them to look down on us? Madness, they are only human and no use nor ornament. I bet none of them could boil a fucking egg.

How dare a group of republicans express their disdain for a royal family.

There are always pricks happy to say the most appalling things to provoke a reaction from their opponents. With no greater understanding of the issues other than it gets a rise from the other side
It’s best to ignore them, they have nothing to say worth listening to.
As a republican I too dislike the institution of the British monarchy but don’t think for one second that they give a shit if I sing it from the terraces of a football ground.
The Telegraph is just looking for ragebait.
