Humans are the most intelligent species on Earth. Yet, despite our immense capabilities, we have not mastered the art of building an advanced and efficient society. This has led to the world we live in today: inefficient, inequitable, and far from reaching its true potential. If we were to live more wisely and harmoniously, life on Earth could be significantly better. Below is a vision of how life could and should be:

o   No poverty: Everyone has more than enough to live a comfortable and fulfilling life.

o   Minimal crime: Crime rates will decrease by 90% compared to current levels.

o   A meaningful life: People will understand the value of life, live purposefully, and contribute to society through efficient working. Overwork will be eliminated, with a balanced schedule of 8 hours per day, 4 days a week.

o   Unprecedented progress: Humanity will achieve significant advancements in science and technology, reaching new heights of innovation and discovery.

o   Enhance human society: not just by helping those in need, but by elevating society as a whole.

All of this is achievable – it’s not a fairy tale. While it may not be easy, it’s certainly within our reach. Humanity has the capability to create this reality; we simply need to correct the mistakes of the past and adopt the right practices moving forward.

By doing so, we can build a world where everyone has more than enough to live comfortably, ample time to enjoy life, and the opportunity to understand the deeper meaning of life and existence. Crime will be minimal or non-existent, and people will live with purpose, kindness, and meaning.

This book will be your guide, outlining the improvements we need to achieve in order to turn this vision into reality.

  1. Mindset. Right. You’re just going to ignore the fact that life is inherently unfair? How is someone born with a severe disability supposed to benefit from a mindset shift? I mean, it doesn’t hurt, but it doesn’t really help either when they are unhireable because of their symptoms. Or what about kids born into extreme abuse? Studies show that this leads to brain changes that will haunt those kids for the rest of their lives impeding their happiness and chance of success. Can you make the world a little better? Absolutely, and that’s a noble goal. But the utopia you are describing is a fantasy. The world will never be enlightened as long as humans continue to be born with disadvantages and as long as they keep abusing each other.

  2. Quantify more please. E.g. define “comfortable”. BTW everyone has enough of what? I’ve just realised the result is not comfortable life, but having “mo re than enough” of something to have it.

BTW having “more than” might introduce issues, e.g. eating more than enough leads to obesity and health issues, some of which are not comfortable to live with now.

I dunno man, I look at our society and all the meaningless shit we pursue, and then I look at monkeys chillin and I wonder about the intelligence thing- I mean, for christ’s sake, we even let AI do all our fun creative stuff while we work

32 hours per week is overwork with the tools we have.

I work from home and can easily do an 8 hour day in 3 hours if I need to get shit done at home.

Return to office? I’m milking it. 8 hour day will take 8 hours.

I understand stuff comes up so things need to be done daily. But I’ll do a 5 day/20 hour week any time.

Greed keeps us from this. Infinite profit theory keeps us from this.
