SS: A research team led by Professor Dr. Georgios Tsiavaliaris, head of the Cellular Biophysics research group at the Institute of Biophysical Chemistry at the Hannover Medical School (MHH), has now found a substance that intervenes in a specific step of the complex Rho signaling pathways and not only prevents tumor cells from forming solid cell clusters but also from actively migrating.

TLDR: it could effectively stop growth of cancers but it’s not a cure to the source of cancer, so significant potential to halt progression but only part of the treatment.

Metastasis is a bastard. Cancer would still be a big deal w/o metastasis. But tumors would also be limited to invading local tissues only instead of making copies that pop up throughout the body.
If they can make a treatment based on this that works against multiple types of cancer, that would be a huge step forward.
