“alleged assault” I think we have all seen the footage.
There’s innocent until proven guilty in court. But let’s not white wash it

Bit of a piss take to plead not guilty when we literally have video of them doing it

I mean, I’m. not condoning their actions, but the video clearly shows the cops starting the altercation, one of them runs up behind an unaware suspect and slams his face into a wall, and you clearly see another cops **kicking a guy in the head while he’s on the floor**, which is extremely dangerous and completely unnecessary, absolute fucking thugs on both sides.
No, they shouldn’t have fought back at the police (once they realised they were police), but I’d defy anyone not to ‘resist’ someone you can’t see running up on you and smashing your face into a wall, those cops should lose their jobs.

So if found guilty they need to get around 4.5 years, that’s what Carl Beech got for assaulting emergency workers, otherwise we’ll hear shouts of two-tier again.
Edit. Sean Beech.
“Bro, we all saw you do it.” Is basically the prosecution case.

Scouse jury? Manc defendants? Deliberations will last 10 seconds.
Are they still being represented by that lawyer who is basically the Asian/Brummie equivalent of Saul Goodman?
Absolute rage bait not guilty plea, theres a video of you doing it.
I bet they will get away with it. State of this country.
Seems like horrible advice to please to not guilty here. Their sentence would improve if they didn’t and it’s pretty open and shut. Hope they get proper jail time as the country’s eyes are on them and the social contract erodes every time these kind of crimes get let off with fines and suspended sentences.
Ok i guess.
It’ll be interesting to hear the actual context of what the video is telling us.
Why did the dailymail say that sparked nationwide protests?
Well that’ll be a harsher sentence than if they’d gone guilty.
The thing that stood out to me most in the video was the complete lack of situational awareness by the three officers, all three trying to arrest one guy, completely miss the one who sucker punched them.
