>Nearly two years before his death, Balaji purchased and registered the Glock pistol he used to shoot himself in the forehead, the report says. He was found lying on the bathroom floor of his apartment in front of the mirror and had recently researched brain anatomy on his desktop computer.

If I understand this correctly. He was a super smart dude and had no electronic records of anyone entering. He has recently looked up the brains autonomy and then with defensive wounds/bruising face arms and a trail of blood mag I managed to shoot himself in such a way as to miss his brain? It would be terrible if his family actually was given an independent autopsy to put any suspicion to rest; so they could move on with their lives.

Based on the articles I’ve read it could go either way. When you’re dealing with money and power at that level it’s not a matter of can I do it, it’s more a matter of do I want to do it. Suicide is hands down the best way to hide a murder…mainly because it’s pretty easy for many investigators to just write it off and close the case if the evidence is there.
