Finally some relief. Seriously though, how accurate will we be able to predict its impact point?

Do the world’s space agencies have a plan ready to stop the asteroid? I know that it CAN be done, but WILL anyone actually stop it?
So when the impact point is released, is it possible to buy property in time for an insurance payout?
I will only worry about this in 2028. That’s when we will have the narrowest cone of probability. For now, nothing much.

The odds will keep getting higher until it either goes to 100% or it’ll drop all the way to 0% it’ll never go down to a percent lower than it is that isn’t 0.

Does earth have a large enough gravity well to suck it in if it gets close enough anyway or is that unlikely?
Which part of the Earth do the scientists think it will hit? Or is that too soon to calculate?
Those ‘Giant Meteor 2028’ yard signs are going to be popular.
What are the chances that they have the sizing wrong? Is there a chance it could be bigger than expected? Not like a mile wide one but something say, twice the size they think?
