Probably not. I’ve seen American space fans complaining about how NASA never attempts to capture such type of footage despite a much longer history of Martian surface explorations.

Did they drop a camera down to film it? That’s pretty cool video and I am glad I got to see it, but NASA would never spare the mass for something that wasnt mission critical.

That is best footage? Compared to so much I have seen from other rovers, no it is not, and not even close.
