The specific mentioning of doing something on tech and services hopefully means their shitty chicken can stay in America.

Buzzing about all the chlorinated and hormone washed gruel we’ll be forced to choke down when that happens.

    3. It’s just a roulette wheel whether this is positive or not. In 2 weeks we could be best buddies or he could be threatening to annex Wales. Who knows 🤷‍♂️

Starmer is a KC and a former Director of Public Prosecutions. Whatever you think of his politics, he’s spent much of his life in the justice system, observing the best and worst of human nature and working his arse off.

I bet he fucking hates Trump and I feel sorry for him in that photo doing his job and leaning into that shit-eating-grinning chummy handshake.

Tbh this could have gone a lot worse it seems (still a shit storm but I was half expecting him to literally debag Keir at the podium and make him say “I’m a bender” in a girls voice) . As much as I think Starmer was the right guy for this type of meeting it should remind us how powerful a diplomatic tool the Royal Family are especially when one is dealing with a deranged chimp with a flame thrower and an ego the size of Australia so whilst I’m sure he didn’t have much say in the matter well played Charlie Boy.

    6. Tech and Services, will mean our Digital Safety act will be gutted to appease Vance and the Big Tech overlords.

    7. Pretty sure this is exactly what was said last time he was in office and no deal was signed because it wasn’t beneficial and there were too many issues that couldn’t be resolved like food standards.

Yes. Let’s buy their soon to be completely unregulated food and products, lol. What could go wrong!

There is no way a meaningful deal happens, but maybe a framework deal to stroke trumps ego

As a Canadian, we signed a trade deal with Trump during his first term. You can see how that’s going.

If the UK thinks appeasing a bully like Trump is a good way to deal with him, not only will it be humiliated, it will also be wrong.

    11. Yeah. We won’t be doing that with trump in office. He is too thin skinned and can turn on a dime.

    12. Wouldn’t be surprised, they were making out today it was like a date, and i wouldn’t be worried with both countries threatening each other I’m worried how ukraine will be after this love relationship from today

    13. We don’t want chlorinated, bird flu infested chicken, and we don’t want to deal with a facist dictator.

Starmer, the public have looked to you with a lack of confidence for almost a year now. Many people voted for you because they figured you were the best of a bad situation. You have the chance to build a legacy as the prime minister who stood his ground against facism. Be that person.

    14. Mmmmm, can’t wait for all that delicious chlorinated chicken and high fructose corn syrup in everything /s

    15. This is divide and conquer. By pushing tariffs against the EU but offering a deal to the UK, he seeks to gain leverage he can use to push the UK away from closer ties with the EU and the rest of Europe, both in terms of commercial and military cooperation.

In so doing, he can isolate the UK and make it solely dependent on the US, allowing him to push more exploitative policies on the UK, like he’s currently doing with another country that is heavily dependent on the US, Canada.

The UK should cooperate where possible of course, but keep both eyes open and be very wary of deals you make with this administration. Do not allow them to sabotage closer UK ties with Europe, especially in terms of defence and trade. A future as an equal partner with the EU is more beneficial in the long run than becoming an economically dependent vassal of a wannabe dictator in the US.

    16. If, and it’s a big IF, the EU gets US tariffs and we don’t… then this could finally be the first ever Brexit Benefit. It has only taken 10 years!

    17. Chlorinated Chicken, Hormone Beef and Brain Worms for all. At least brain worms for those who weren’t already watching GB News…

    18. Oh…fuck off. The media can’t just use *Says Trump” and make a headline. Please

Anything before “says Trump” is shite

    19. Don’t lick the arsehole of this orange baffon when just under half our bloodly exports are in the opposite bloody direction!

    20. Mysterious-Knee8114 on

They have evidently bonded over their affinity for pedophiles. What a pleasant situation. “Come not between the orange and his retardation” and all that.

    21. Why would anyone make a deal with this guy? He will break the deal in a few days and claim he doesn’t remember it.
