  1. the live stream was unwatchable.

one hour of the most over the top patriotic fascist space domination bullshit

    absolutely disgusting

  2. This needs to get more attention. Most people have no idea this even happened. THIS is part of what is really important. Things UP THERE. Not everything needs to be about things down here. This is the advancement of the human species and civilization.

Now, send another one. And another. We need to focus on what’s important

  3. so they could land on the moon like 60 years ago and record it with just a few seconds delay but now they could not even get some live footage just a simulation?

They messed up the pr a bit. Nonstop chatter, only 1/10 even technical readouts the rest is commentary, and no footage( yes theres prob some technical reason but i mean, you know theres moon landing deniers out there, no live footage aint helping, not helped by the 1990s level cgi)

  5. Just watched live. So cool to experience and super happy for the team. Can’t wait to see more companies continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in the commercial space industry.

  6. Stoked to have the first of a Lunar floatilla successfully land on the surface. Kudos to the entire teams’ and their payloads!

since they are landing on the side of the moon not facing earth, fine ig they dont have live footage, but please for gods sake stop chattering

The “American First” comment from Janet Petro is ironic given how much Ukrainian technology Firefly uses.

  9. Congratulations! Every lunar landing without breaking too much stuff, is a succesfull landing in my book.

As someone who watched it live from outside the USA what’s your theory with all the manic patriotism in all the interviews and the focus on how important it is for the USA? Pandering for govt funding, perhaps?

  11. Very excited for this!! That first image was so cool to see ‘live’ and I’m really excited to see what else we get from it soon!

Wasn’t Intuitive Machines the first private moon lander to land on the moon last year?

Saw it live on TV, truly an inspirational sight to behold. I only feel that humankind is getting closer to the Moon’s reach. Congrats to Firefly!
