Not really this year though. My sister-in-law just left for Tromso for northern lights – sadly, she did not consult me before buying the trip, so she was a bit disappointed when I showed her that there won’t be almost any moonless dark time in the next two weeks. First quarter in March in the northern hemisphere is simply brutal due to the high declination of the Moon.
