This is what it means to be a friend of the American government, just ask the Kurds. Georgia you deserve better. I say this as an American who sincerely loves Georgia.

Anyone who ever thought Trump was a friend of anyone and cared for someone or something other than himself was just delusional— as were the electors of Trump in America. Trump never cared about Georgia, Ukraine, or any countries with war/political turmoil. He’s licking Putin’s butthole because he thinks it will benefit him somehow. Sad we had to find out this way. He’s the literal Putin of the West, just a stupider, version.

For Georgians perspective it’s unclear how the USA will respond to GD.
GD is still strangling with the new government of the US, GD made a lot of strategic mistakes and it’s Trump…but Georgia’s problem won’t be trump ( I am sure)
street Protest and opposition’s auctions are key. Georgia is not a rich country, It cannot be a dictatorial state for long.

You guys need to understand that neither US nor Canada view SZ as having any legitimate authority. For politicians here, she is someone who had had power but lost the elections. Even though many here agree that the elections may not have been fully above board, few people doubt that the outcome of the elections reflects genuine political preferences in Georgia.
I am not saying that this is good or bad, nor if I agree or disagree with this state of things. I am just saying what it’s like, for many of my friends from Georgia mistakenly believe that US or Canada view the current parliament as illegitimate and SZ as retaining any political authority.

I swear people are so naive these days.
There are no FRIENDSHIPS in politics, never was and never will be. There are only political benefits.
Of course Trump does not give a damn about stolen Georgia elections or whatever happens to Ukraine. He does not see the benefit anymore. Funding the war is not weakening the Russians or helping the US (unless they get the precious resources).
So I don’t understand why are people so surprised about all this? This is not a damn fairy tail where “good guys fight the bad guys and power of friendship wins”. This is REAL LIFE and in real life big countries use the small countries and small countries only survive if they’re useful.
