Says the country that has committed murder on the streets of the UK using chemical and nuclear weapons?

Russia also believed that they could conquer Ukraine in 3 days, and yet here we are.

The rest of the world knows that Russia’s invasion is a literal war.
Someone needs to take Putin out.

The more they bluster the weaker you know they are. Time to get together with the neighbours and put them back in their box.

not another ruzzian red line. They must be really worried that european troops will end up eventually in ruzzia. Simple solution get the f*ck out of Ukraine, pay for the damage /losses and have some elections that aren’t rigged.

The White House will listen to this and take it seriously.
In a way they wouldn’t be wrong to. Because the implication is that Russia has admitted (what the rest of the world knows) that it will go back into Ukraine after a ceasefire rebuild of its military to finish the job.
Russia also probably realises that Trump has forced the EU into rearming and potentially increased public support for Ukraine. So they need the US to push a deal now to consolidate the gains.

And then Medvedev will say something hair-raisingly inflammatory whist accusing the west of escalation…

From the Express:
>Dmitry Rogozin, Putin’s former deputy premier and ex-head of the Russian Space Agency, warned that European peacekeepers would be met with hostility.
>“Send them, Starmer. Don’t talk, send them. Don’t forget to give your Scots combat tartan skirts, so that our drones can easily fly in there and kick their spicy asses.”
Time to bring the redcoats back.

Damn that’s crazy. I wonder if the Kremlin would consider loosing plutonium and banned military-grade nerve agents in their towns and cities an act of war.
real_grown_ass_man on
A peacekeeping mission does not amount to war, but you can bet it will lead to a military confrontation between the peace keeping force and Russia.
We shouldn’t be naive in this. What ever assets the EU puts out there to protect the Ukrainian border, even at the current contact line, Russia will shoot at it and hit it, eventually. And the peacekeeping troops will have to respond with force.

They said that about all the military aid provided, too.

I mean sure, they’re open to declare war on the UK over a planned post ceasefire action.
It’s more courtesy than they gave Ukraine after all.

This the country using chemical weapons on our streets? That shows CGI of us being nuked on prime time telly?
Yeah, I think we’re past caring, Ivan. We should have stood up to you much harder long ago.

Just about anything people have done historically which Russia doesn’t like amounts to “direct war” or “an unacceptable escalation” in their view. Their normal doctrine is “escalate to deescalate” because they assume other countries have no will power. Russia are overstretched in Ukraine and their economy relies on this war footing. To give in to them now would be the worst decision.

I’m afraid we are heading that way…I’m way past call up age, but I see a comparison between Trump and Putin with Hitler and Mussolini, both hell bent on world domination. We’d best stock up on Vodka and Bagels.

It’s only war if you choose to invade Vladdy boi. You don’t need to invade.
I am sick of Russia SUCCESFULLY peddling this idea that they are just gonna Russia. Like a force of nature Russia just does things, and its up to everyone else to clear the way.

No we’ll just call it a “special peacekeeping military operation” and we’ll be fine

Hopefully. We will show Russia what a 3 day war looks like. Give em a Greggs too 😬

If the russians can use silly words for war and aggression then lets call peacekeeping Valet Service. So we will be doing a Valet Service on the special military operation vehicles.

So then Mr Poultry, Sorry Putin. Get the fuck out of a country that has staunchly defended itself and Vehemently declared it wants no part of you or your regime.
Allow the UN, to monitor a peaceful withdrawal and then draw a border marking a no man’s from your country to there’s.. UN aren’t threatening you then. Until you yourself order a crossing of that “No Mans Land” at which point, you have proven again it was you who started a war.

AKA Russia is actually worried about European peacekeepers stopping his war of aggression. They think they’ve gotten close to winning with the US on side so now Europe has rejected the “deals” proposed they’re starting to sweat a little.
