A local favorite, Bell House Band, will be performing a free one-hour concert at Café Congo (161 West Broadway, Winona) this Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m. to raise funds for Winona’s Food Shelf. They’ll present Americana, folk, and original music on guitar, bass and mandolin “playing it forward” in celebration of Minnesota March Food Share Month. Café Congo is a social action initiative of the First Congregational Church of Winona and has raised over $60,000 in freewill donations for good causes over the past 10 years. Admission is by freewill donations, all of the funds going to the cause. Thank you. Doors will open at 1:45 p.m. The church is accessible to the mobility challenged at the canopied entrance. All are welcome, always!
