      * Members of the group Palestine Action entered the Trump Turnberry site early on Saturday morning, digging up the greens and spray painting the words “Gaza is not for sale” across the lawn of the South Ayrshire course.

      * Activists said they targeted Trump’s golf course over the US administration’s intent “to ethnically cleanse Gaza”.

      * A spokesperson for Palestine Action said: “Palestine Action rejects Donald Trump’s treatment of Gaza as though it were his property to dispose of as he likes.

      * In recent days, Trump has threatened Gazans on his social media platform Truth Social, writing that he would be sending Israel “everything it needs to finish the job” in a bid to get hostages back, adding that Gaza residents “are dead” if any are not returned.

      * A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.40am on Saturday, 8 March, 2025, we received a report of damage to the golf course and a premises on Maidens Road, Turnberry. Enquiries are ongoing

      Why be peaceful to a government who only understands violence. At least the building is still intact, look at the state of Gaza…

      hey, the guy might be president but there is no need to attack the mans golf course.

      i hope those protestors are banned from the golf club for at least 6 months, unless accompanied by a member AND wearing correct attirre.
