We can share if they pay into it. It isn’t going to cost nothing to extend the nuclear umbrella.

The difficult bit is building and maintaining our missiles. We still need the US to do that and that’s a dependency risk for us.

Happy to cooperate…maybe Germany should recommission its nuclear power stations and stop buying Russian hydrocarbons we’re at it?

      Win-win

    4. We already cover them under Article 5, so what they really want is control(or a say in their use, anyway), and the answer has to be no. The uk needs to keep control of its own weapons.

absolutely not. thr more countries have nuclear weapons the more likely they will be used. people dont get it, if a single nuclear bomb falls on a nuclear power station thw whole continent will be uninhabitable for thousands of years, hundreds of millions will die maybe billions.

    6. Never have I felt so European as I do now. Ironic considering BREXIT.

I feel we’re years behind where we should already be – we’ve been asleep. These discussions should have been happening when Russia took Crimea and more so when Trump took office the first time around.

Funny after so many years of being given the shitty stick from France and Germany for Brexit they now want to be our best buds.. I don’t mind that because we were always the better country anyhoo
