      Of course not; if someone values educating their children enough to pay a fortune for something that could be free then they will make things work to keep providing that level of education for their kids if they possibly can.

      Did anyone think the poshos were going to send their kids to state schools for anything other than exam years so they count as state school when it comes to uni ?

      Rupert and Beatrice’s parents will just buy one less land rover

    3. Let’s wait until September and the start of a new school year. I’ll wager that new pupil numbers will be significantly down even if current pupils remain.

      Hilarious.

      Make russel group universities cap their annual private schools intake at the % of kids nationally who go to private school. Circa 5%.

      That would be the single greatest societal leveller.  

    5. I can see why… too many feral teenagers on the loose today. Instead of studying at home, I see gangs of them running around at 10pm at night.

      If this is your state school crowd, then why would anyone barring dire circumstances subject their kids to this crap
