TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Healthy minds are as important as healthy bodies, no matter how old you are!
That’s the message young advocates brought to the Statehouse for Thursday’s Mental Health Awareness Day.
More than 200 students took park through Y-LINK, Youth Leaders in Kansas.
Breeson North, a junior at Buhler High School in Reno Co., has been part of Y-LINK for three years. He and Andres Mata, who works with the program through the Kansas Dept. for Aging and Disabilities Services, visited Eye on NE Kansas to talk about why their voices matter.
