A new £4.2 million family entertainment centre is under construction in West London. Hollywood Bowl has begun work on its latest venue at The Chimes Shopping Centre, in Uxbridge scheduled to open in June.
The modern, Los Angeles-inspired centre will include 22 ten pin bowling lanes and four lanes of duckpin bowling—a variation featuring smaller, lighter balls and shorter lanes. The facility will also boast state-of-the-art amusements, a bar and diner, and a dedicated party zone. The Hollywood Bowl Group has 73 centres and Putt & Play mini golf brands in the UK, and 13 bowling centres in Canada.

Visitors to the venue will enjoy an American-style bar and diner offering hot dogs, burgers, shakes, and signature cocktails. The centre’s amusements arcade will feature popular games such as Mario Kart alongside family favorites including air hockey and racing games.
The development plans to create up to 45 new jobs. Employees will have access to Hollywood Bowl’s training and development programmes, opening pathways to careers in the leisure and hospitality industry, the company claims.

Hollywood Bowl Uxbridge will begin taking bookings from late April, including for grand opening offers and events. The venue is set to open its doors in June 2025. Guests will be able to bowl in their own flat and closed toed shoes and can get the best prices by booking 7 days in advance online.
