This will never cease to amaze me. When I was a kid, exoplanets were a complete mystery. Now we can actually see them!
First black holes, now exoplanets. That I have lived to see actual images of such things!
Aren’t all planets alien planets? Except, you know, the one we’re on.
“Nearby star” bahaha, that gets me good every time. 130 light years? Only about.. what.. 7.642 quintillion miles? Give or take a few quadrillion lol
On a serious note, I’ve been reading up on this solar system all day. I love the Webb telescope so much
The fact that JWST seems to have captured the main colors of those gas giants is actually insane to think.
I’m wondering if its possible to a clearer picture of those. I would love to see that in the future
