      Advancements in AI technology could lead to free services like AI doctors, disrupting industries like healthcare and legal services and possibly rendering traditional currencies obsolete, with stablecoins potentially serving as a bridge to a new economic model.

      Is AI and Crypto going to change our world, or will something stop this movement?

      How do you imagine society adapting to these changes, and what challenges might we face along the way?

      also author: [ignores the fact that healthcare in the usa is entirely for-profit and any decrease in cost would be immediately captured by the insurance industry]

      nope, “ai acceptance” and “a crypto bridge” is not at all whats holding back these technologies. the same goes for just about every other industry in the USA. there may be AI involvement but its solely so the people at the top can take more profit for themselves. Until theres a plan to disrupt that (i.e. eat the rich) the life of the proletariat will only get more mundane and miserable.

      You can totaly do post-scarcity without crypto.

      Without AI though it would be impossible. Unfortunately AI will definitely be used in totaly oposite way, to control and prevent dissent and to optimize use of resources (people included) in service of faction controlling the AI.

      In this state of currency flow (including crypto) and AI use our society can never achieve Post-scarcity.

      Post-scarcity society mostly needs 5 things to be stable,

      1. Minor population control to manage numbers of people and it would probably go in the oposite direction asking to have more births to stop the decline.

      2. Full transaction transparency (crypto is antithesis of this)

      3. Automation.

      4. Goods availability and saturation.

      5. Advanced waste and enviroment management.

      All those except maybe first one must be done by AI for best efficiency and to avoid undeserved wealth accumulation by overly ambitious.

      Crypto does not have place in, or as a way to post-scarcity as it is not transparent, very suseptible to manipulation and highly unstable measure of wealth.

      Money is not a possession but a tool, to understand that is only first step in to post-scarcity.
