OWENSBORO, Ken. (WFIE) – An entertainment project in Owensboro has been approved for $2 million in incentives under the Kentucky Tourism Development Act.
As we have reported, a request was made by TS Entertainment, LLC to transform the Towne Square Mall on South Frederica Street into an entertainment destination last year.
The Kentucky Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet met last week to discuss plans for the development.

Officials say the project has the potential to revitalize the space, create new jobs and draw visitors to the area.
According to a press release, TS Entertainment, LLC is continuing to work with local and state partners for the next steps in the project.
