Sutter Health Park will host nearly 150 games in 2025 as the Athletics and Sacramento River Cats share the venue. The area is expected to have an influx of visitors.

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sutter Health Park is set to host over 150 games during the 2025 baseball season, as both the Athletics and Sacramento River Cats share the venue. The influx of visitors is expected to impact the West Sacramento ballpark and surrounding area.  

Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a season ticket holder, knowing your parking options can help enhance your game-day experience.


Sutter Health Park parking lots 

Sutter Health Park has over 5,000 parking spaces across multiple parking lots near the venue. The closest options are the Main Lot, VIP Green Lot, Gold Lot, Black Lot and Ziggurat Garage. 

The VIP Green Lot and Gold Lot are only available to A’s season ticket members with a season pass. Fans can purchase parking ahead of time for both A’s and River Cats games.

  • Main Lot — Fans can enter this lot through various entrances in front of the ballpark. They enter from 5th Street, just north of Bridge Street (Orange Entrance), Riverfront Street between Ballpark Drive and Bridge Street (Blue Entrance) and Riverfront Street just south of Ballpark Drive (Yellow/Red Entrance) 
  • VIP Green Lot — Entrance is on 5th Street
  • Gold Lot — Located right of Sutter Health Park near the 805 Apartments, fans can enter at the intersection of Ballpark Drive and Riverfront Street
  • Black Lot — A dirt lot south of the ballpark, the entrance is off of 5th Street across from the apartments at the Bridge District
  • Ziggurat Garage — Located near the Ziggurat, the pyramid-shaped building, fans can enter the garage in either direction on 3rd Street

Lots open three hours before the event starts and vehicles can remain in them for up to two hours after the game ends. 


There’s a limited number of disabled parking spaces in the VIP Green Lot and the Main Lot. The Green Lot is the primary ADA parking area while the Main Lot is for ADA overflow and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parking rates and payment methods 

Prices for lots near the ballpark will depend on the event.

For A’s games, parking spots can be reserved for the following rates each game:  

  • Main Lot for $30 
  • Green Lot for $40
  • Gold Lot for $35
  • Black Lot for $30
  • Ziggurat Garage for $25 

Here’s how much parking reservations are for River Cats games: 

  • Green Lot for $20
  • Gold Lot for $15
  • Main Lot for $15

Sutter Health Park encourages cashless transactions. Credit and debit cards are accepted at Sutter Health Park, while cash is not accepted at River Cats-operated lots.

Street parking

Street parking around the ballpark will be limited and is intended for those who aren’t going to the game. 

West Sacramento’s website says special event parking rates will apply for all baseball games. For A’s games, a $39 special event rate will be applied in an effort to reduce traffic and congestion.

The $39 rate will apply two hours before the game starts through the end of the event for vehicles parked for more than two hours.

A special event rate of $22.25 will also apply to River Cats games for cars parked on the street for over two hours.  


Alternative transportation options  

Fans can bike to the stadium and park at the bike racks near the Sutter Health Park suite entrance on Ballpark Drive. The racks are free to use, according to the ballpark. 

Rideshare users, including Uber and Lyft passengers, can be dropped off or picked up at the Rideshare Zone at 7th Street and Cabaldon Parkway, west of Sutter Health Park. 

Yolobus, a public transit service in Yolo County, offers stops near Sutter Health Park on Cabaldon Parkway. Click here to view Yolobus routes.

SacRT offers light service to 7th and Capitol and 8th and Capitol downtown. Fans can then connect to a Yolobus route across the Tower Bridge to Sutter Health Park.
