    1. >There are also growing expectations that the UK will drop the digital services tax as part of an attempt to reach a deal.

Christ cant see that going down well with his backbenchers after the disability, winter fuel allowance and other cuts.

Reading the article the ‘sharp teeth’ seems to be after that after april 2nd, the Gov plans to do operation ” beg and plead really hard to make us exempt”, brexit really was the stupidest choice ever, when this is what the UK is reduced to.

& mine are long and sharp my lord, as long and sharp as yours….

And so he spoke and so he spoke, that lord of SW1….

    3. Unless he plans to physically bite him, which I am not necessarily against, I am not sure what he can do that trump would notice enough to hurt rather than just piss him off more. If only we were members of some sort of continental trade group that could negotiate on equal terms with the USA.

I doubt starmer’s nibble will strike much fear into our American overlords

    5. MonitorPowerful5461 on

We’d better. Other countries have succeeded at pushing him back. Countries that roll over get the worst outcome. I will be disappointed if we don’t do anything

Starmer: I am ready and willing to use my sharp teeth and give a tax break to Elon Musk and the rest of the tech oligarchs in the USA. Obviously we will then need to take even more from the poor and disabled to counter this, but I’m sure they will understand…that only rich people’s lives matter.

    7. Sharaz_Jek123 on

Starmer came out of initial negotiations with Trump promising to reduce domestic spending and international aid in favour of increasing the budget allocation to the UK military.

“In return”, Trump promised to reduce his own spending for military forces in Europe.

Such are the low expectations for our Idiotic PM that the local press saw this complete and utter capitulation as a brilliant coup.

    8. Caramel-Foreign on

Who’s teeth? After brexit, integration with US economy was advertised, and logically still is, the only chance to compensate for the “gained” trade barriers with EU. He has no leverage whatsoever

    9. shoogliestpeg on

The only people he’d deploy sharp teeth on are Left wingers, Disabled people and poor folk.

He’ll bend the knee to Trump.

    10. Timely-Sea5743 on

Funny this: sharp teeth. How much free stuff will Starmer get doing this deal?

    11. Fun-Committee7378 on

President Trump, please note that Two Tier Kier is only the PM due to everyone not wanting the Tories to be in power.
He “won” by default and does not represent what the UK public want or need. Please don’t listen to him, he hasn’t got a fucking clue, but he’s trying to play Billy Big Bollocks with the grown ups.

    12. salamanderwolf on

Who is he kidding. Kier couldn’t stand up to an inflatable doll let alone an actual person. As soon as anyone with any money, power or influence speaks up he tucks his tail and u-turns.

    13. Normal-Ear-5757 on

Oh God no Kier! Don’t eat a baby! The City might love it but the voters will *hate* you!

    14. Fatclouds2007 on

Starmer is saying while performing oral on Trump he will occasionally use his teeth so it’s not that pleasurable if trade deal isn’t that good.

    15. TALongjumping-Bee-43 on

This is why relying on one large economy is not a good idea. A single political change on their end, like lets say, they devolve into facism, and they have us by the balls.

The EU or CANZUK or a similar collective though is not at the mercy of the politics and whims of a single country within itself but rather the other way around.

    16. ElNino831983 on

Come on, Starmer, stop being such a drip.

Work with Canada, Australia, NZ, and the EU (if possible) to stop being so reliant on the US.

End any form of Tesla subsidy, tarriff American whiskey heavily, and heavily tax American social media and tech bros. Stop chortling Diaper Donny’s balls.

    17. Strange-Key-7898 on

This would be the perfect opportunity for the world to cut ties with the USA and show Trump that the rest of the world doesn’t need their trade.
We can either produce it at home, or set up trade with other countries. Let’s boycott American products and services.

    18. Virtual-Feedback-638 on

Rubbish! His head is so far up Trump the Chumps behind, that he can and could not find his way out even if he tried.

    19. binglybinglybeep99 on

Got to laugh at the ideas of rejoining the EU.

      “Brenter” etc etc.

      NOT HAPPENING stoodies.

    20. “sharp teeth” is a strongly worded letter. That’s serious shit for a Brit. People tend to forget that Brits have two settings, one is being miffed about something and expressing distaste, usually in writing. The other is removing your head and shitting down your neck.

      So just fucking calm down.

    21. I just hope we remember to take the ‘sharp teeth’ out of the glass of water by the bed first.

    22. DifficultCurrent7 on

r/BoycottUnitedStates is a brilliant sub. People from all over the world have had enough of the orange mans madness and are doing things about it.

    23. Dave-Carpenter-1979 on

That man is a bare faced liar. He said he’s going to “smash the smuggling gangs”. Illegal immigration’s up by 31% since he took the job. Over 70.000 illegal immigrants have entered the country, according to the BBC.

    24. Ray_Spring12 on

The Brits cheering on Trump a few months ago are deranged. This was always going to happen.

    25. Threaten to take away his second state visit if he doesn’t behave. “We’ll turn this plane around Mr President if you don’t behave.”

    26. usaisgreatnotuk on

he’s gonna lie again and make south uk poorer. dont listen what’s posted on the toiletgraph.

    27. TooHotOutsideAndIn on

I bet he will. There will be some gnashing and then the poodle will roll over snd show its belly like it always does

    28. Hasn’t everyone been laughing at Trump that tariffs are passed onto the US consumers? … doesn’t that mean these tariffs will be passed onto the UK people?

    29. No_Software3435 on

Well according to tomorrow’s papers, we are going to be hit. Seems it may be linked to free speech , you know the kind the U.K. apparently doesn’t have. He seems to not approve of a protester being arrested outside an abortion clinic. He can feck off with his evangelical nationalist Christianity crap. Gloves should come off now. Slap tariffs on them. And increase the rent on all the US airbases or the RAF ones they use.

His dad was a tool maker, so he knows a thing or two about sharpening his teeth.
