Georgia is not on the list of countries whose students can benefit from scholarships for short-term academic programs in Lithuania for the 2025-2026 academic year, the portal studyin.lt reports.
The number of scholarships allocated is up to 35 and covers one semester of study in Lithuania, however, Georgia is not on the list of countries whose students can benefit from these scholarships.
Scholarships for short-term studies in Lithuania are offered for candidates who are citizens of Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Canada, China (People’s Republic of China and Taiwan), India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, New Zealand, South Korea, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, the United States of America, Vietnam and foreign citizens of Lithuanian origin of non-EU and non-EFTA countries.
In addition, the website contains information that Georgian students can still apply for full-time master’s programs in Lithuania.
As is known, Georgia was included in the list of programs for 2024-2025.
