  1. Didn’t the EU propose purchasing American oil to avoid tariffs?

Tradeau also flew to Florida to then President-elect Trumps home, to present and design an immigration and drug plan to avoid tariffs.

The Mexican president also agreed to something similar to protect their southern border.

This is a cool graphic, but it would be interesting to see both sides of it.

  2. Not that I can’t do it myself with time but is it possible for you to post this as like a super tall image so I don’t have to scroll/other people don’t have to scroll? I only ask because I want to send this to a few people but let’s just say they have a habit of only looking at one image versus the bunch:-) great job

Just to be clear when it says “50% of what they charge to the US”… That’s just what Trump claims

What the number of what “tariffs they charge” really is you take a country, take the exports the US sells them, then divide that by the imports the US buys from them. That ratio? Invert it. That’s what he is claiming is what they are charging the US as a “tariff”. it’s entirely bogus but look at his chart and that’s what you’ll find.

So does China get their tariff bumped down to 25% because they buy oil from Venezuela? This is so stupid.

  5. 50% what they charge us? The numbers are the exports / imports for the given country. This chart that he showed is disinformation. Lol

  6. It’s not 50% of the tariffs they charge US and the tariffs aren’t reciprocal. The trump admin just took the trade deficit % and divided by two to arrive at their tariff numbers.

Hes so salty he lost hes burning every bridge the US has built and is willingly give up the US’s spot on the top of the global hierarchy because he cannot accept he lost. All our allies, our soft power, all of it gone.

  8. All these tarriffs from the USA are reciprocal tarriffs now tho. All those countries already had tarriffs on us so now we are just aiming it equal. Why can’t the liberal pea-brain make sense of that?

  9. Congress needs to repeal the statute he is abusing to do this shit already. I mean what happened to the republicans at least supporting big business? You could always at least count on them to have the backs of US corporations if nobody else in America.

  10. Everything is so expensive.. good thing we’re making everything more expensive for seemingly no good reason

Hearing no semblance of a plan and going against advice certainly makes me feel we’re putting our faith in the right guy despite never having had a job before in his life.. what could go wrong

What a mess (Trump, not OP’s chart). He’s doing his best to destroy our country.

  12. if his plan was to break international markets by making a system that is operationally impossible to administer… I think he won.

  13. Everyone saying there is no plan – but there is, it is pure market manipulation. Impose a tariff, withdraw a tariff, buy low, sell high. Biggest con job ever.

  14. Can a Republican please explain to me how this is going to make life for Americans cheaper or easier long term? Serious answers only because I work in Orange County where everybody is telling me this is for the better long term but nobody can tell me how or why

By crashing the economy so rates drop?

  15. Can’t tell if its your charts or his train of thought thats hard to follow
