Kurti visits the family of the murdered sergeant Muhamed Lika to offer condolences
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti visited today to offer condolences to the family of Kosovo Police Sergeant Muhamed Lika, who was killed under still unclear circumstances on April 1.
Kurti on this occasion highly praised the figure of Sergeant Lika, for his contribution to law and order, peace and security of citizens and the state, but also for his contribution to the liberation of the country as a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
“Sergeant Muhamed Lika has worked and contributed a lot for law and order, peace and security of our citizens and state. Before that, he was engaged and contributed as a KLA fighter for the liberation of our people and country. His murder will be brought to light and the insidious criminals will be tried and punished. His name will live on and his memory will not be erased,” Kurti wrote in the book of condolences.
Police Sergeant Muharrem Lika was initially wounded last Tuesday evening at around 23:00 PM by gunfire near his apartment in Kaçanik, but later did not survive the injuries he sustained.
