As it was almost the entire season, the Kosovo Basketball Super League brought strong emotions even in its final round, reports KosovaPress.
In the final round, Golden Eagle Ylli triumphed against Proton Cable Prizren with a score of 102-97, while Trepça also closed the season with a victory, defeating Bora with a score of 92-80.
Bashkimi also won a very close victory in a dramatic match, triumphing against Peja with a score of 75-72. On the other hand, Sigal Prishtina showed its power by defeating Vëllazni with a score of 94-73, writes KosovaPress.
So in terms of the standings, the leader of the table is Bashkimi with 48 points, just one more than Trepça in second place. Sigal Prishtina is third with 45 points, followed by Golde Eagle Ylli with 43 points, one position below.
In fifth place is Peja with 42 points, Vëllaznimi comes in sixth with 41 points, while the last two places are held by Bora and Proton Cable Prizreni, which have 37 and 33 points, respectively.
The playoff phase will now take place where the two leading teams will advance directly to the semi-finals, skipping the quarter-finals. In the quarter-finals Prishtina meets Vëllaznim, while Ylli meets Peja. The two winners join Baksimi and Trepça in the semifinals.
