The death toll from a nightclub fire in North Macedonia has reached 61, after another young man died from his injuries.
The North Macedonian Ministry of Health confirmed on Tuesday that it is a 29-year-old man who was being treated in Lithuania.
He was suffering from burns and respiratory problems, and is the second patient to die in Lithuania in the last week.
The March 16 fire broke out during a pyrotechnic display at a concert inside a packed nightclub in the eastern city of Kocani.
About 650 people were inside at the time, according to prosecutors, and most of the victims were young.
Seven injured people are hospitalized in North Macedonia, while 64 others are being treated abroad in hospitals across Europe, Health Minister Arben Taravari said.
Investigators are looking into security violations and illegal operating permits.
Thirty-four people are in custody, including a former finance minister and seven senior police officers.
Prosecutors have said that all but one of the suspects face possible sentences of up to 20 years if convicted.
