  1. Jokes aside, we need pinned threads here for those specific posts. This sub is getting spammed with same questions over and over again by these tourists.

I’m just really interested – why would it not be safe there? Just a general shop with stuff for your house, tools. I can’t even imagine the idea.
    – Boxes falling from the ceiling?
    – Kids playing paintball inside?
    – Vampires?

Actually, that’s a pretty valid question given that it’s total anarchy in there during some holiday sales.

At the far end of the store, where huge sharp metal sheets stacked around, there is definitely not safe. Avoid these places when with toddlers, and wear hard hats.

  6. Mostly yes, but not on big Sales day. Then it’s Apocalypse in Gorgia, I would stay away.

It depends on how you define safety. By Western standards, it’s generally considered safe. But as someone coming from Saudi Arabia, I felt more unsafe in my first two days here than I ever have before.

However, after spending a month here, I realized that what I initially saw as unsafe is actually quite normal for this place. I’ve learned to adapt and take simple precautions—like avoiding going out alone after 10 PM.

So, in my personal opinion, it’s definitely safer than many countries, but still nowhere near the level of safety we have in Saudi Arabia.
    Just a personal opinion <3
