Basically the title. The British government has reccommended not travelling near unless it’s essential, but, I want to know realistically how near is too near for safety?
Thanks!

This made me laugh. It’s a main road with thousands of people going up and down every day. Literally one of the main tourist attractions in the country. It is fine. I have been to one of the areas in red which was also fine. Don’t believe everything the UK government says
It’s got to be the most popular tourist destination outside of Tbilisi, so yes.
No, not safe. There are canibals on the road who eat tourists. Do not come.
It’s safe just watch out on potholes!
