  1. Found this on a web magazine I peruse from time to time (the robocop lured me in). The author posits that humans have been adapting to artificial beings (real and imagined) since the earliest days of written language. The two mentioned here are Pandora and Talus from Ancient Greece. Here they set up a halfway decent argument about the connection, and ask if we are going to to able to adapt to artificial beings quickly enough as they come into daily life.

  2. Adapt or accept? From my perspective as an elderly, business is hell bent on fast as possible, thinking only of profit, not the consequences. I’ve seen the dumbing down of a generation, willing to accept whatever is put on their plate (phone),
