Our social media team just restructured partly due to the fact that nobody is using Twitter anymore. We just don’t get anywhere near the volume of comms or interactions we used to.
It’s an absolute toilet, so it’s no real surprise but I thought people would still log on there to complain.

Had Muslim family that didn’t even leave the house for a few weeks during those riots they were that terrified. So much property destruction vandalism burning. Set community relations back a ton.
We should be focused on things that bring the country together. Like maybe a wealth tax to pay for infrastructure fixes. Or a movement to push towards doing that in a way that doesn’t cause capital flight.
But instead the right wing talk about “immos” constantly while happy to see foreign billionaires get less taxes and foreign wealth sink it’s teeth into buying up and dismantling the UK

I mean I held a Twitter account for what could possibly be 15+ years.. when Musk took over I kept swearing to delete it. Then the site really started to go to shit and he got into politics and whilst I was really disappointed I just continue to be a user on the site any more and deleted my account. It’s been surprisingly easy to let go honestly.

A mate of mine works in online marketing. They said they stopped advertising on X shortly after Elon took over, when he fired most of the people my mate was working with who dealt with the accounts.
