  1. If the EU was smart they would block purchases by american companies at this moment. The US is currently a hostile country, and US tech giants barely follow the EU rules…

  3. Every time I tried “free now” it was indeed free, because no car ever came. In every situation where a taxi would actually be necessary – you’re outside of the public transport network, late at night – taxis don’t bother working.

    The main trick of Uber was always inducing supply with dynamic pricing and simple access for drivers.

    If lyft can fix this, I’d be fine with that.
