Tyler Adams responds to Landon Donovan’s comments regarding the USMNT
Tyler Adams says ‘the criticism is fair’ when asked about Landon Donovan’s recent comments on the USMNT.
Sports Seriously
Bosnia and Herzegovina has reportedly approached U.S. men’s national team midfielder Matko Miljevic over a possible change of association.
Miljevic earned his first two USMNT caps this January, scoring in his debut appearance against Venezuela. He was not called back when a full-strength roster was convened for the Concacaf Nations League last month.
The 23-year-old has been in outstanding form with Argentine side Huracán, where he has three goals and three assists in his last three matches.
According to journalist César Luis Merlo, that form has caught the eye of the Bosnian federation, which has already held talks with the midfielder.
Miljevic was born in the United States and raised in Argentina, and also qualifies for Croatia as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina through his family heritage.
The midfielder could potentially be the second player switching to Bosnia after representing the USMNT recently. PSV midfielder Esmir Bajraktarevic played for the U.S. in January 2024 before ultimately deciding to cast his lot with the nation of his parents.
Miljevic spent two seasons with CF Montréal, but he had his contract terminated in 2023 after moonlighting in a local amateur league under a false name.
He then returned to Argentina, where he spent a year with Newell’s Old Boys before signing with Huracán earlier this year.
