Kosovo’s futsal team has closed its Euro 2026 qualifiers with a 4:3 victory over Bulgaria.

Kosovo had lost its chances of advancing to the final tournament to be organized next year in Lithuania and Latvia after a 3:1 defeat on Friday by Georgia.

The “Dardans” won on Wednesday thanks to Fitim Krasniqi’s “hat-trick” and a goal by Diar Deliu.

After six matches played, Kosovo, led by coach Agon Ramadani, had two wins and four losses and finished in third place with six points, after two victories over Bulgaria.

Of the two losses, they were to France and Georgia.

France won qualifying Group 10 with 16 points, three more than Georgia.

Bulgaria did not win a single point.

The winners of the ten groups secured the European Championship, while the eight best second-place teams will play in the playoffs.
