I’m a teacher. There are so many teachers who will read this and think: why not me?!
Education is in a dark place rn.
I hope it was paid by parents of that bandit or by their insurer.
If I as tax payer will be covering this payout … it will just add to crumbling of this country.
Absolutely agree, but hopefully paid out of pocket of parents of said kid. This would be the only way this has any potential reforming aspect to it
This should be the norm when teachers are assaulted. Schools leaders should have a statutory responsibility to create a safe working environment in relation to pupil behaviour, and if they fail to take reasonable steps to do so they should be liable for it.

I have so much respect for most teachers who deal with students like this id personally throw it back at their face 😂
Teachers getting paid pennies yet are expected to teach little shits who don’t give a damn has always been insane to me.
