      Remember that time they threatened to crash the ISS into us? And that other time when they threatened to detonate a nuke in the ocean to drown us in a “nuclear tsunami” or whatever?

      They behave with a lairy and unmeasured bravado reminiscent of a bar room loud mouth after one vodka too many..

      Unsure if a shift in tone and tenor is possible – given what the current political hierarchy within that country has done to the establishment – in order to shore up and cement their own positions within it..

      The likelihood re a level of normalcy and diplomacy being restored seems remote…

      Probably not possible until the old (formally low level) Soviet relic is gently edged out – alongside the associated coterie who suckles at his figurative teat / prop him up..
