Kosovo Police, at the request of the Mayor of Leposavic, took action on Wednesday to vacate occupied public spaces in this municipality.

According to the Police announcement, these spaces were owned by the Municipality of Leposavic and were illegally occupied by parallel institutions of Serbia, which acted in violation of the legal order of the Republic of Kosovo.

As part of this operation, several offices of parallel institutions were closed, including the so-called “Employment Office”, “Pension Office” and “Kopaonik Hotel Enterprise”, where several other units operated within these facilities.

Authorities said this action represents an important step towards the rule of law and full institutional integration throughout the country’s territory.

“The Kosovo Police, in cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities, will take all necessary actions according to the legislation in force,” the announcement states.

Earlier today, authorities took action to close a Serbian parallel company operating in the municipality of Ć trpce.
