Acting Minister of Agriculture, Faton Peci, has said that a joint solution must be found for the formation of institutions, and that there is no convenience in leaving the fate of the new legislature to the non-majority communities.
“I think that Kosovo needs a coalition government with an Albanian majority because we do not have the luxury of thinking and leaving Kosovo’s fate to the whims and whims of some non-majority communities, I’m talking about Bosniaks and others,” Peci told “RTK Prime”.
According to him, the political parties PDK, LDK, AAK and the Serbian List are to blame for the created situation. Peci said that they cannot dictate the name of the speaker of the parliament.
“The situation was complicated by the opposition, LDK, PDK, AAK and the Serbian List. They complicated it because we were rushing just to vote against, we were not committed to being all in the hall, because we did not think of a situation that could end like that. Consequently, on the day when the verification process of mandates failed, there were several deputies who were either in the buffet or in the corridors”, he emphasized./RTK
