  1. As a person who attempts to tell stories through visualizations, I find this to be very good work. Also, visuals are complemented with good explanations of what they measure and sorrounding evidence.

  2. If you make America shitty enough, immigrants won’t WANT to cross the boarder! That’s some big beautiful brain ya got there Don.

  3. Curious how long before people will scream: “fake news”

This data is as clear as it can get.

  4. It’s interesting to see how the approval ratings have drifted apart over the decades. It aligns with out conception, that US politics have become increasingly divided over time.

See for example Eisenhower and Kennedy, who both had a difference in around 15% over the parties. And compare that with Obama where the stances had already drifted apart around 30%, and then Biden with a difference of 40%. That’s heavy. And now Trump with a difference in 85%!

The polarization correlating to less moderation in social media and Fox News propaganda is interesting to see. The most polarizing candidate in history.

  6. This is all part of the plan. Think of it as backing up to have distance for acceleration. Everything is going to the moon. He just announced that tariffs will for allow people who make under $200k to pay no income tax. Trump is a genius level businessman and a polymath. He knows everything, nobody know any subject better than him. Truly a genius. A lot of the rural population, the poorer whites, blue collars people know this because he fights for their causes. Not to mention Christians because they see what a godly man he is, spreading God’s word by selling bibles. He should have more wives, virgin wives, as rewards but he probably said no because he wants to spend his time to take care of us.

  7. Like 80% of Republicans support each of their candidates, that’s a sign of their support regardless of a president’s performance.

  8. The increasing division of approval rating by partylines over the years is so fucking sad.

“we polled the most volatile period of unrest to measure Trump’s approval rate”

Lmao. At least they admit to cooking statistics.

Whether it proves fruitful or not is still up for debate and time will tell and I don’t know if I agree with the process, but what Trump set out to accomplish was never going to be about instant approval and immediate results.

The US has been kicking the fiscal can down the road for decades and it’s not going to get fixed overnight nor is it going to be a smooth road.

Argentina has experienced much of the same thing. Milei said it would get worse before it got better and it definitely got worse and definitely has subsequently gotten better. One of the highest growth economies in the world last year was Argentina and the population is all for it.

It’s been a fantastic 100 days. Did they say it’s 100 days? I think it’s more like 150. Onnnne… fifteeeeeee. Simply tremendous. People talk to me a lot about these 150 days. They say it’s great. They say it’s the best 200 days they’ve ever seen under any president in any country of the world.

I’d like to point out how republican voter approval ratings are significantly more polarising than that of democratic voters, having consistently high approval of any republican president, and low approval of democratic presidents. You can take what you want from this, but narratives like ‘republican monkey brain sees red and approves’ get even funnier when you find out that trump has a 90% approval rating among republicans, and 4% from democrats in 2025.

  12. Jesus, the growing divide on approval ratings by partisan voters is very telling. Republicans continue to go to further extremes based on the party in charge, while Democrat voters actually seem to care about results (in comparison). Republicans are a cult who put party before country.

Also fairly telling that Democrats approval of D presidents have continued to fade over my lifetime. Something big needs to change or the cult will stay in charge, permanently.
