ANTLERS, Okla. (KXII) – The Choctaw Nation celebrated the opening of a new health clinic in Antlers.

The Choctaw Nation Health Services Authority partnered with Oklahoma State University Medicine to open the Antlers Community Health Clinic.

The clinic will have a small staff onsite, with providers seeing patients virtually.

The clinic is at 506 N Highway 271, Suite C, and it officially opens on Wednesday.

It is open to everyone, and it is designed to meet healthcare needs of people who need same-day care but don’t have to go to the emergency room.

It will be open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

“We’re proud to bring this much-needed service to the Antlers area,” said Dr. Jason Hill, Chief Medical Officer of Choctaw Nation Health. “Our goal is to provide fast, compassionate care close to home, and to ease the burden on local emergency rooms.”
