In 2025, the EU introduces new rules for traveling through the Schengen zone by introducing the EES system into the first phase, and then the Etias system in the second phase in 2026.

The first phase with the introduction of the EES system in 2025 of October means they will lift the seals in the passports and replace them by taking Otisans and photos of anyone planning to travel through Schengen, in order to have a centralized system to know when you have entered and how long you are present in Schengen not to override 90/180.

The second phase, ie the ETIAS system will be introduced in 2026 which means before traveling to any Schengen state you will have to register online, fill out a form, pay a small amount and wait to be approved before traveling.
